Paynter Dixon’s approach to road design and construction involves a full understanding of all external influences such as traffic volumes, pedestrian routes and accessibility issues.
Road systems including stormwater drainage infrastructure are developed to provide optimum design and construction solutions.
Our civil design team has successfully developed roadway systems and improvements for industrial and residential subdivisions, bus stations and terminals, trucking movements for Australia’s leading food distributor centre sites and leading residential and retirement developments. We have also designed and constructed significant numbers of road widening and intersection upgrades.
Our capabilities to deliver road and civil infrastructure projects include:
- Bridge design (precast concrete, in-situ concrete, steel, timber, composite structures)
- Integration of new services or connection to/relocation of existing services
- Pavement design (on-ground, suspended or elevated)
- Kerb and Channel
- Knowledge of Main Roads structural and civil engineering guidelines
- Stormwater management and design, including culverts, spillways and flood storage devices
